The Predator is a blend of the five Bordeaux varietals, Cabernet Sauvignon (66.5%), Merlot (16.5%), Cabernet Franc (12.5%), Malbec (2.5%), and Petit Verdot (2%). The result is an exceptionally smooth, yet nuanced Bordeaux-style wine. Our 2017 The Predator displays notes of black cherry, dark boysenberry, spice, leather. The palate offers a rich, velvety feel, with layered flavors of juicy dark cherry, spice, warm tobacco, and a long berry finish. Our Petite Sirah is a big, bold, beautiful red grown in the Paicines AVA on our Pedregal de Paicines Vineyard. The nose of this wine exhibits rich notes of spice, clove, black cherry, and leather. Only around 300 acres of Tannat are grown in California. Traditionally, Tannat is used as a blending grape, to add body and deep color to other varietals. Puma Road Tannat stands on its own. Our 2017 Tannat has a nose of abundant dark fruit; warm, rich spice; and hints of vanilla and leather.
